This original Fuchsia watercolor is mounted on a violet painted 12x12x2” thick (31x31x5cm) cradled wooden panel, safeguarded by an acrylic UV protection varnish.

Aren’t Fuchsias intriguing flowers? What do they make you think of? They remind me of Asian lanterns… but then sometimes I see them as ballerinas in fluffy tutus with their arms up!

I’m not so far off because when I asked my Instagram followers what Fuchsias remind them of, they said “dancing ladies,” and “Indonesian dancers”.
